Why cross-platform, and why Flutter: productivity with hot reload, Skia performance, customisable UI, web support, and community.

Modularization is the difference between a messy bookshelf and a neat one. Splitting an app by layer (clean architecture) or by feature brings separation of concerns, readability, reusability, and testability — especially for big teams working in parallel.

The catch is monorepo tooling: running pub get and build_runner across every module. Melos solves it with workspace-wide scripts, package filtering, and local linking. Verdict: slower to start and more complex, but highly recommended for large projects and teams.
